Reactivation/Reissue of Authorization to Test (ATT) Letter

NBCOT candidates who wish to have an ATT letter reactivated or reissued may do so online through MyNBCOT.

Reasons ATT letters are reactivated or reissued include:

  • Current ATT letter has expired
  • Due to name change
  • Canceled exam between 5-29 business days prior to scheduled exam date
  • Canceled exam less than 5 business days prior to scheduled exam date
  • Failed to appear for a scheduled exam
  • Arrived at the test center more than 15 minutes after scheduled exam start time
  • Arrived at the test center without the proper ID

The fees for this service range from $75 - $175, and will vary according to the candidate’s specific circumstances. If an examination application is more than one year old, the ATT letter may not be reactivated/reissued; a new exam application must be submitted.
