OTR candidates who will be taking the OTR certification examination from January 2009 can click here to view the tutorial for the new clinical simulation section of the OTR examination. By reviewing this tutorial before taking the actual examination, candidates can familiarize themselves with the overview of the format and flow of a clinical simulation problem and the procedures for selecting the responses to clinical simulation items.
U.S. graduates must have an entry-level, post-baccalaureate degree in occupational therapy to apply for the OTR Certification Examination. Occupational Therapy Eligibility Determination (OTED) Process:
U.S. Graduates:
If you graduated from an occupational therapy program with a degree other than an entry-level, post-baccalaureate degree, you must first complete additional requirements identified through the OTED process (Category B). See below for link to more information.
Internationally-Educated Graduates:
All must apply through the OTED process for exam eligibility.
