This one day workshop will provide a functional review of brain stem modulatory systems and their impact upon self-regulation. Topics included will cover issues of attention, arousal, sensory hypersensitivities, major neurotransmitter systems involved along with their 2nd messenger systems. Hands-on manipulatives will be used to enhance appreciation of interrelatedness of these centers with physiological, affective, cognitive and motor responses. www.pdppro.com
