This course provides an overview of Attention Deficit Disorders and its various subtypes, as defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition (DSM-IV). It describes the differences among Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and their subtypes. Diagnosis and general treatment options are also reviewed. Issues such as incidence, comorbidity and misdiagnosis will also be discussed.
