Spasticity – There is no definitive treatment method for spasticity, due to the fact that there is no definitive reason for its occurrence. We see it in all types of patients with a whole variety of diagnoses. It is clear that no one truly knows the answer to the most effective treatment for spasticity, but there are several methods that can ease its severity and possibly increase the patient’s tolerance of the condition. While there are still some mysteries as to the cause, a variety of treatment approaches are described. You are encouraged to take this class over time, applying the strategies with your patients in the clinic.
