For therapists certified in MLD who would like to deepen and expand your understanding of MLD by looking at a different version. This 4 day course will cover a review and updated understanding of the structure and function of the lymphatic system as well as an introduction to the Casley-Smith (Australian) lymphedema techniques of MLD, self MLD, and exercises. There will be a specific unit on evaluating and treating head and neck lymphedema. The emphasis of the course will be using your knowledge to problem-solve with an opportunity to present complex patient cases.
