(#1076/Text) This article provides information on the development of play in infants, toddlers, and young children. The primary emphasis is on the growth of specific aspects of play skills as children age, including the use of objects, agents, sequencing of actions, and development of play themes. General age guidelines for changes in those behaviors are also provided.
