(#1045/Video, #1116/Audio) This presentation includes a review of brain anatomy basics, including details of the physical and anatomical structural support system for the brain and a description of the physics of linear and rotational acceleration/deceleration injury to the brain. Primary and secondary injuries associated with these traumatic forces and their effects on brain tissue, vasculature, and intracellular neurochemical processes will be discussed.
