The purpose of this course is to define the benefits of yoga and how it can be utilized as part of a therapeutic exercise program. Basic yoga poses; benefits of yoga such as increasing flexibility, strength, posture, cardiac function, and sensory processing; sample yoga programs are included. Special bonus in this course is discussion on how to adapt yoga for special populations such as pediatrics (including fun adaptations), back injuries, prenatal, and chair yoga. This is a course for any therapist interested in using yoga as therapeutic exercise in multiple clinical settings
