Online/Printable/Mailed - 6 PDUs - Description: This course details some of the most frequent positioning and handling interventions used when working with children who have neurological deficits. Emphasis will be on improving trunk and head control, accomodating for lack of muscle support, providing proper postural alignment, and decreasing muscle tone needed to improve the child's performance in mobility and functional tasks. This course is appropriate for both occupational and physical therapists.
