Mailed - 12 PDUs - Torticollis refers to the presentation of the neck in a twisted or bent position. This abnormal neck posture is the third most common congenital musculoskeletal anomaly in infants affecting 0.04-1.9% of newborns. Therapeutic intervention by either an occupational or physical therapist is highly effective at treating and resolving issues related to torticollois. This course teaches each learner how to assess and treat infants and children with torticollis and is appropriate for entry-level to intermediate occupational and physical therapists.
