Increased awareness and knowledge of medical interactions that occur during a patient’s rehabilitation process will help drive optimal intervention processes, goal setting and attainment. Clinicians are also often asked to coordinate patient care in settings without access to full medical charts or understanding of lab values.This seminar was designed collaboratively to provide therapists with the knowledge needed about common medical conditions. Exploration of lab value parameters and therapy implications will also be discussed. Therapists will also learn about implications of pain medications to the rehabilitation process.
