This course will present current concepts of causative
mechanisms, tissue biomechanics, evaluation and treatment
of lower extremity osteoarthritis. Treatment approaches
including therapeutic exercise, activity modification, and
functional movement re-education to address functional
limitations and impairments will be discussed. Immediate
and long term management of problems related to joint
replacement will also be presented. Lecture and activity based
course.
