The Child's Developing Brain: Emerging Neuroscience and its Therapeutic Implications.

This course will focus on the latest thinking, based on brain research and presents a clinical decision model that assists therapists with assessment and intervention. Whether it be a sensory, perceptual or motor problem, the current understanding of the brain is essential to analysis and formulation of realistic goals and evidence based interventions. This workshop will emphasize determining the critical problem a child has and the possible intervention strategies (PT, OT, SLP) that will make a functional difference. -
