This course focuses on clinical advantages, disadvantages, and product limitations of power tilt, recline, and tilt/recline systems. Michelle instructs clinicians on the definition of positioning, seating and seating functions as well as reasons for a client to use seating functions. Clinicians also gain knowledge in recognizing the types, indications and contraindications of tilt, recline and tilt/recline combinations and special considerations for wheelchairs that tilt and/or recline.
