(#1611/Video) The purpose of this seminar is to discuss the evolution of occupational therapy from its early history as an arts and crafts profession within the medical model to currently an advanced health profession incorporating evidence-based practice into interventions. The presentation uses quotations from the early pioneers in occupational therapy that are juxtaposed with the healthcare issues of the 21st century.
