This course covers medical ethics, ethical principles, and laws that govern occupational therapy. By taking this course you will learn how to apply the AOTA Code of Ethics in everyday practice. Learn how to determine if a situation is a legal or ethical issue, the difference between fraud and abuse, and how to use a model to analyze and make decisions regarding ethical issues in the workplace. Legal issues related to fraud and abuse are addressed including how to report those issues. This is a MUST course for all OTs and OTAs.
