Expedited Application Review
NBCOT will be offering a new service in anticipation of the approaching dates. The Expedited Application Review is for the determination of educational comparability component of the OTED process. The Expedited Application Review will begin May 1st, 2012.
Requirements:
- Application must be complete
- All education comparability documents must be included (course descriptions and related syllabi)
- The OTED application materials must be submitted to NBCOT on a CD
- Official, final college transcripts, Official Course Descriptions and Syllabi, Program Director Form, Verification of Licensure, and TOEFL examination score report must be sent as a primary source
- The turn-around time will be approximately six weeks
- The fee for the expedited option is $800
New Fee Structure:
- $500 - OTED application materials submitted by CD for comparability review
- $600 – OTED application materials submitted by paper for comparability review
- $800 – Expedited Education Comparability Review submitted by CD for comparability review
**Please note that all official college transcripts, official course descriptions and syllabi, Program Director Form, Verification of Licensure, and TOEFL examination score report must be sent as a primary source document.
