NBCOT Navigator® Wins Major Awards

June 29,2016

Navigator recognized with two prestigious awards

Picking up its second major award of the year, NBCOT Navigator® competency-assessment platform won the prestigious Silver award from the Serious Play Conference, a leadership conference for professionals who embrace the idea that games can revolutionize learning.

Navigator has also been recognized with the 2016 Judges' Choice Award for Most Innovative New Product Demonstration by Association of Test Publishers, whose members include Microsoft, Facebook and the American Dental Association.

A virtual platform, Navigator contains a series of practice-related tools for certificants to engage in continuing-competency assessment. All OTR® and COTA® certificants have complete access to Navigator through their MyNBCOT profile, where they can earn as many as 14 units toward certification renewal.

Along with its awards, Navigator is being accepted by a growing number of states toward licensure renewal requirements. With 26 states currently accepting Navigator, more than half of NBCOT certificants can use the platform toward licensure.
