Certification Renewal Information

The certification renewal application and handbook are available on the NBCOT web site. Hard copies of the application and handbook are mailed in early January to all those certificants due to renew.

Paper applications postmarked after March 31 are subject to a late fee. Online applications submitted after 12:00 AM local time on March 31 will be automatically charged the late fee.

If you need to update your contact information after completing the certification renewal application, click on "Update My Profile" from the left menu bar, or e-mail your new contact information to NBCOT: changes@nbcot.org.
