Professional Development Provider Registry

NBCOT^® is pleased to announce a new service on our Web site - the Professional Development Provider Registry (PDPR).  We offer this service to the OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST REGISTERED OTR^® (OTR) and CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT COTA^® (COTA) community in an effort to enhance your access to professional development and ultimately, to fulfilling your NBCOT^® Certification Renewal Requirements. 

The Registry provides you with various choices of continuing education opportunities – available in many areas of occupational therapy practice.  Two categories of professional development providers can be found using the Registry “search” tool. 

• Basic - Name of the professional development provider and contact information only.
• Advanced - Name of the professional development provider, contact information, description of the company and information on up to a total of four workshops, courses or programs they are offering.

Please note that the professional development providers found in our Registry are not considered “approved providers.”  This service is a registry only.  As related to NBCOT^®’s Certification Renewal Requirements, please refer to your NBCOT^® Certification Renewal Handbook (also available on NBCOT^®’s Web site) for specific descriptions of acceptable professional development activities.
