It may help you determine how prepared you are for the certification exam. You can use your results to guide the development of a personalized study plan.

What should I expect when completing the entry-level self-assessment?

Each page has a series of statements for you to rate your exam readiness. Your results will display at the end of the assessment. You can either download the results to your computer or email them. If you access the self-assessment from the NBCOT Exam StudyPack®, your results will be saved for you to access whenever you want.

When should I take the entry-level self-assessment?

You can take the self-assessment as many times as you would like on your certification journey. Some students complete the self-assessment at certain points during their academic program, while others do so before and after fieldwork.
