Savannah, GA - Today NBCOT was awarded the 2022 ICE Innovator Award for J·E·D·I Reflection Points at the ICE Exchange Conference. This award recognizes NBCOT for taking an innovative approach to a product that transformed and achieved a new level of success in a unique and innovative way. JEDI Reflection Points is a powerful online, self-reflection tool, which focuses on Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI).
ICE, the Institute for Credentialing Excellence, is a Washington, DC-based professional membership association for organizations and individuals who work and/or provide services to the credentialing industry. This is the second ICE Innovator Award that NBCOT has received. In 2018, the Navigator, NBCOT’s groundbreaking competency assessment platform, was honored to receive the first ever ICE Innovator Award by the ICE community.
“We are thrilled to accept this award for JEDI Reflection Points. As a certification organization, we wanted to develop a tool that truly reflects our commitment to JEDI in a way that would benefit not only our candidates and certificants but also our staff, our board of directors, the academic community, our fellow health care and certification industry colleagues, and the public we serve,” said NBCOT’s president Paul Grace.
J·E·D·I Reflection Points is an open access tool, consisting of modules that foster opportunities for self-reflection and personal growth related to JEDI principles. The tool provides a safe space where individuals can determine how much – or how little – learning they want to participate in.
