NBCOT Update on Test Administrations

Since the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic, NBCOT has been exploring additional solutions to assist candidates to test as soon as possible. After exhausting all possible strategies for putting a new partnership in place, we were unable to find a solution that could meet technological requirements while allowing us to deliver our exams in a fair manner within a reasonable time frame. While we are disappointed by this outcome, we are encouraged by the positive reports we sent earlier today from Prometric about increased test center openings and expanded testing hours. We sincerely appreciate your patience and support during this challenging time, and we look forward to welcoming many more OTR and COTA certificants in the days to come.
