Verification of Your Certification Now Available at No Additional Charge

OTR and COTA certification matters and providing verification of that to state boards, employers, agencies, or clients is now available to all current certificants at no additional charge.

Certificants can easily order a verification of certification by logging into their MyNBCOT account and clicking on the Services tab. Select the option to send to a state or other entity and follow the steps to check out at no cost.

Orders sent to states will now be delivered through secure electronic transfer, reducing the time it takes for your state board to receive your verification information.

Individuals also have the option to verify certification through our free online credential verification tool, which provides details on certification, such as the initial date and current status. You can find this tool at www.nbcot.org on the top under "Verify an OTR or COTA."
