Score Release Dates are Different If You Tested Using a DVF
If you were approved to test on a DVF, your scores are not released until we receive and approve your official final transcript.
Once we approve your transcript, your score will be released in 24-48 business hours. You do not need to wait until the next scoring date. Your score will also be released to any state licensing boards you requested within the same timeframe.
Please send your official final transcript to NBCOT as soon as it is available. Electronic transcripts should be sent to email@example.com and need to be sent through a secure and verifiable transcript service or clearinghouse. If the transcript is mailed, send to our address at the bottom of this page.
Due to annual maintenance updates, there will be an examination blackout period from December 19, 2022 – January 2, 2023. You will not be able to take the examination during this time. The last day to take the NBCOT examination in 2022 is December 18, 2022. Testing will resume on January 3, 2023.
To guarantee you receive an ATT letter before the NBCOT office closes for the holidays, your application must be complete, including receipt of payment and an official final transcript or DVF by Monday, December 19, 2022.
Our office will be closed from December 23, 2022, to January 2, 2023. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
The final score release for 2022 is scheduled for December 21, 2022. To be included in that release, you must take the exam on or before December 18, 2022.
