How Do I Schedule My Exam?
Once your application is approved, you can schedule your exam. You will receive an Authorization to Test (ATT) letter by email and in your MyNBCOT account. This letter authorizes you to schedule and take the certification exam. The NBCOT exam is offered daily at hundreds of test centers. You must schedule your exam appointment directly with NBCOT's test administration partner as instructed in your ATT letter.
Check for your ATT letter in your junk/spam box. It will come from donotreply@nbcot.org.
Your ATT letter includes:
- How to schedule your exam
- Instructions on how to proceed with testing accommodations, if applicable
- How to reschedule or cancel your exam, if necessary
- Contact information for NBCOT's test administration partner
Schedule Your Exam Day After Reviewing the Scoring Calendar
Exam scores are released according to the scoring calendar. If you want your exam result on a specific scoring date, you MUST take your exam a minimum of three days before that score release date.
